INTE1100 — Installation & Troubleshooting I

( 1-4-0 ) 3 Credits UN This course covers PC hardware and peripherals common to virtually every personal computer, including microprocessors, RAM, power supplies, motherboards, BIOS, CMOS, the expansion bus, and input/output devices. Students will learn how things work, how to configure everything, and how to troubleshoot in real world environments. Additional topics includes: mobile device hardware, networking and troubleshooting hardware and network connectivity issues. The course also prepares students for industry-based certification such as the CompTIA A+ Exam.
