This course will emphasize with the understanding and use of major concepts of number sense, geometry, and measurement, statistics, number systems, and problems solving through real-world situations. Course pedagogy involves students as active participants in the learning process through activities, problem-solving and journals. This course is intended, but not exculsive, for elementary education majors who plan to transfer to a four-year institution. Pre-requisite(s): MATH 1105 Concurrency: None Co-requisite(s): None
