This course is an introductory leadership course with an emphasis on traits, values, characteristics, and developmental tasks that are the foundation for leadership. A primary goal of this course is for you to gain a greater sense of self-awareness as a basis for developing your own leadership skills. Focus will be placed on implementing change, vision, diversity, emotional intelligence, and leadership. By the end of the course, you will be able to assess the fundamental characteristics they possess which prepare you for leadership, as well as those areas in which you may need to improve and further develop your skills.
