ENC 1102 - Freshman English II ENC 1102 - Freshman English II 3 cr. hrs. This course is designed to develop your ability to read literature critically and to improve your ability to write effectively. Emphasis is on style; exposure to various literary genres; and planning, writing, and documenting short research papers and critical essays. Your reading will include authors of both genders and a variety of multicultural backgrounds.
