HIST 1152 — World History II
This course is a survey of World History from 1500 AD to modern times. This course will examine major developments in the political, social, economic, religious, cultural, intellectual, and technological life of world history from the 16th century to modern times. The course will begin with an examination of the age of European exploration and expansion and the rise of colonial revolutions. The course will then trace the development of modern eastern and western cultures. The course will then examine the rise of industrial na- tions, democracies, world wars, our world progressing in the digital age.
