Management This course will explore the volatile nature of man- aging critical incidents that occur within the field of corrections and law enforcement. Specific focus will be on the dynamics and methods involved in hostage negotiations, intervention strategies during a critical incident and the utilization of effective interpersonal communication skills. Team intervention approaches will be discussed along with information regarding post–incident debriefing.
