ACCT 2221 — Auditing

Prerequisite: ACCT 1102 or ACCT 1105 This course will provide a sweeping overview of audit- ing. Special attention will be given to the nature and economic purpose of audits, auditing standards, profes- sional ethics, auditor’s legal liability, the study and evalu- ation of internal control, the nature of audit evidence, forensic auditing and auditing techniques.
