PHYS1410 — Elementary General Physics I

Detailed algebra and trigonometry based study of one and two dimensional motion, including kinematics, Newton’s Laws, energy, and momentum. Additional topics from the areas of rotational motion, oscillations, waves, fluids, and heat will also be covered. Emphasis will be placed on both concepts and mathematical problem solving. This course is taught in an interactive style that integrates lecture, laboratory and small- group activities into one combined session. Location: B/L Classroom
