A study of behavioral reactions to social, physiological, and emotional stress as seen in patients throughout the health-illness spectrum. Introduces nursing interventions for neuro-unique behavior in all healthcare settings. Further development of the nurse-patient relationship, assessment techniques and therapeutic communication skills are emphasized. An overview of the modes of therapy (including psychopharmacology and nutraceuticals) and intervention in maturational and situational crisis is delineated. Pathophysiology is integrated into a holistic assessment of the individual. Location: B/L Classroom
