Students learn and apply the principles and skills needed to care for pediatric patients and their families in the community and acute care. Understanding of the principles of growth and development are examined in the understanding of the patient and families’ adaptive response to stressors, including hospitalization, disease processes and traumatic events. Related pathophysiology, diagnostic testing, therapeutic nutrition, and pharmacology are integrated. Location: B/L Classroom
