NURS1530 — Lifecycle Nursing Care

This course provides an in-depth exploration of nursing care across the human lifespan, emphasizing age-specific populations and their unique physiological, psychosocial, and developmental needs. Students will examine nursing care related to mental health, obstetric and gynecologic care, pediatric conditions, and end-of-life care including hospice and palliative approaches. Integration of physiological and pharmacologic principles equips students to understand disease processes and apply evidence-based nursing interventions tailored to each specialty area.
