Basic electrical principles and applications of magnetism, electromagnetism, and the safe utilization of electrical test meters are covered. The design, construction, and safe operation and testing of lead acid batteries are part of this class. Principles of operation, testing, and repair of ignition systems, cranking systems, and charging systems are included. Proper assembly and disassembly of electrical connectors will also be covered.
