Study of the purpose and use of the ICD-10-CM classification system. An introduction to inpatient and outpatient reimbursement systems, coding conventions and principles, and official inpatient and outpatient coding guidelines. Students will assign ICD-10-CM codes to various clinical diagnoses, scenarios, and patient records. Location: L Classroom
