ENGL2440 — African American Literature
This course provides an introduction to African American poetry, short fiction, essays and autobiographical writings. With an emphasis on historical and social contexts, the course focuses on literature as a means for reseeing the past and, consequently, understanding the present. Location: B/L Classroom
