Certificate of Proficiency The Certificate of Proficiency in Pre-Health Science is awarded after the successful completion of the 14-15 credit hour curriculum shown in the Guided Pathway map below. This certificate is designed for students intending to apply to one of the Health Science programs that offers a Technical Certificate (TC) or an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree at SouthArk. In order to receive the certificate of proficiency in Pre-Health Sciences, a grade of “C” or better must be earned in each course in the curriculum and a student must have a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher. Each Health Science TC and AAS program at SouthArk has its own unique grading scale, application process, and pre-requisite requirements.
