PRNS 1317 — MEDICAL SURGICAL NURSING WITH NCLEX PREPARATIONS

This course serves to equip the student with the fundamental knowledge of the pathophysiology of disease processes and the appropriate critical thinking skills required to provide nursing interventions to care for all patients with medical and/or surgical conditions that affect the body systems including pharmacological and nonpharmacological interventions. This course includes team leading, critical thinking concepts and preparation for the NCLEX PN Exam. This course consists of 3 hours of didactic instruction and 4 hours of clinical instruction. PSCI
