ACTS Equivalent Course Number = MUSC 1003 (for non-music majors) Co-requisite: Placement into College-Level Reading Survey of music history and literature with emphasis on listening to and evaluating all types of music including the works and influence of the major composers; the production of the music; instruments of the orchestra and voice, solo and ensemble; and elements, form and terminology.
