ECED 2063 — ADMINISTRATION FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION PROGRAMS II

This course provides in-depth coverage of topics pertinent to the leadership, management, and professional development of the future and current early childhood program director/owner. Emphasis is on staff management and leadership techniques, family involvement and support, customer service, and community relations. Legal and fiscal management are previewed. Personal and professional development as a reflective practitioner is emphasized as students develop skills in program administration and personal career goals. This course requires a minimum of 12 observation hours in a licensed childcare facility.
