hrs., Lab 6 The student learns to safely operate an engine lathe in calculating feeds and speeds and shaping a variety of cutting tools by grinding. The student will also safely operate an engine lathe in straight turning, facing, turning to the shoulder and tapers. Prerequisite: MTT 147 and MTT 148. Corequisite: MTT 134. Code: Career/ Technical.
