BIOL 127 - Ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest BIOL 127 - Ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest Credits: Course Description: Acquire an understanding of the development and dynamics of different ecosystems of the Pacific Northwest, through investigation of the abiotic and biotic factors that have led to emergence, persistence, and diversity of these ecosystems and the organisms that comprise them. An emphasis is placed on developing abilities to detect and recognize animals and plants that make up and use different ecosystems, and toward understanding the roles and positions fulfilled by these organisms. Possible field trips. Either BIOL& 100 or ENVS& 101 recommended. Student Learning
