Specific topics addressed include workplace safety, patient transfer, the healthcare delivery system, professional role, behaviors, attitudes and communication, legal considerations, infection control, surgical asepsis, patient assessment, medication and medication administration (including venipuncture), emergency response, and response to patient needs.
