This course introduces students to the foundational principles and technical skills of cinematography and lighting for video production. Emphasizing visual storytelling, students will gain functional competence in composition, camera operation, lens selection, lighting design, and exposure control. By the end of the course, students will demonstrate the ability to collaborate on set, translate conceptual ideas into visual form, and produce technically sound footage that meets professional entry-level standards. Prerequisite(s): VIS 1410 AND VIS 1420
