ISE 1300 - Fundamentals of Dimensional Metrology ISE 1300 - Fundamentals of Dimensional Metrology 3 Cr. Hr(s). Student will learn and be able to apply the various measurement techniques involving basic measuring instruments and tools such as calipers, micrometers, height and depth gauges, dial and test indicators, and gauge blocks; correct use and care of basic inspection instruments. Drawing or blueprint reading including an introduction to GD&T inspection techniques will be presented. Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other precision measuring equipment will be introduced.
