EDU 1111 - Classroom Observation K-12 EDU 1111 - Classroom Observation K-12 3 Cr. Hr(s). This course is designed to prepare future educators with valuable insights and experiences essential for effective teaching and professional growth. Students in the Elementary Education program will gain firsthand experience in K-12 classroom settings by completing weekly classroom observations over the semester. In addition to observations, students will participate in readings, projects, and reflective activities that connect educational theory to real-world practice, fostering a deeper understanding of effective teaching. To enroll in this course, students must obtain department permission and must successfully complete and pass an FBI/BCI background check prior to registration (information will be provided by the Education Department). Prerequisite(s): EDU 1100 AND EDU 1105 AND Successful completion of FBI/BCI background check AND Restricted to Majors AND Approval of Department Corequisite(s): EDU 1109
