CIT 1107 - Introduction to Operating Systems CIT 1107 - Introduction to Operating Systems 3 Cr. Hr(s). In this class, you will learn the foundation of introduction to operating systems, virtualization and basic networking concepts. You will learn how to manage and administer current desktop operating systems (Windows, Linux, and Mac OS X). In addition, you will explore operating systems for mobile devices (Apple IOS, Google Android) and will be introduced to widespread applications for IoT and Cloud concepts. This class will also cover personal and enterprise cybersecurity principles to protect yourself from common cyber-attacks.
