This course is the first of two core courses in the Pharmacy Technician Program and will prepare students for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board Exam. Course content includes the duties and responsibilities of the pharmacy technician, as well as the mathematical components and the pharmacology foundation necessary to become a successful pharmacy technician. Scope of pharmacy practice including handling of infectious and hazardous waste, interpersonal skills and beginning pharmacology and dose calculations. MAT 1445 ). The math corequisite may be taken concurrently with ALH 1122
