ELT 209 - Motor Controls I ELT 209 - Motor Controls I 3 Hours Topics include sizing magnetic starters and overload protection, the use of push-button stations, ladder diagrams, and magnetic motor starters in control of electric motors, wye-delta starting, part start winding, resistor starting, and electric starting devices. Upon completion, students should be able to understand the operation of motor starters and overload protection, interpret ladder diagrams using push-button stations, and understand complex motor control diagrams. This is a CORE course.
