FIRS 149 — AUTO EXTRICATION – 0.5 Units

Grading: Pass/No Pass Only Note: This course may be repeated any number of times for credit by persons who are legally mandated to meet training requirements as a condition of continued paid or volunteer employment. Class Hours: 27 lab total This course is intended to introduce the principles of vehicle extrication, as well as the use of basic hand tools, rescue tools, pulling and spreading operations, patient handling, and vehicle stabilization. Actual practice and application of the methods are taught in class.
