Grading: Pass/No Pass Only Class Hours: 18 lecture total (when offered in the distance education format, hours will total 54) This course introduces the student to the causes and effects of early childhood trauma. It will include an overview of early brain development, the impacts of toxic stress, and how traumatic experiences affect physical, cognitive, and social-emotional growth and development. This course may be offered in a distance education format.
