PHYS 021 — General Physics 2 5 unit(s)

This is the second semester of a two-semester introductory physics sequence that does not require calculus. The course combines lectures with hands-on laboratory experiments and is required for students pursuing premedical, predental, prepharmacy, environmental science, and many biology programs, as well as occasionally for architecture or other science majors. Topics included are electricity and magnetism, optics, special relativity, quantum mechanics, and nuclear physics. (C-ID PHYS 110)
