Introduction to traditional and contemporary concepts and processes in a variety of craft media with an emphasis on design principles in the development of aesthetic forms based on function. This course may be taken by art majors interested in exploring more traditional craft media, or by any non-art major interested in exploring the hands-on process of making craft as fine art forms.
