This course is an introduction to the major questions raised and theories asserted by philosophy on human nature and destiny, society, and the universe, specifically in areas of ontology, epistemology, metaphysics, and ethics. Students will become familiar with the specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to engage in philosophical discourse and apply these understandings to their lives.
