PHIL 1003 — – Intro to Critical Thinking
The study of applied reasoning, including analysis of arguments, informal and formal fallacies, syllogisms, construction of definitions, and scientific reasoning. Upon completion of the course the student will make decisions using verifiable information, critically examine information, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and evaluate one's own reasoning and the reasoning of others.
