This course is an introduction to the medical coding and classification systems for the United States as they relate to applicable workforces in the healthcare industry. ICD-10-CM/PCS codes will be observed and exercised through the course. A grade of “C” or better is required for passing. Hours: 48 Lecture Hours Prerequisite(s): BIOL 2454 and BIOL 2464 (with a grade of C or higher)and HEAL 1113 or by permission of Health Professions faculty Corequisite(s): None Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer
