Page 90 This lecture-laboratory course covers the basic principles of inorganic chemistry. Topics covered include scientific measurements and conversions, atomic structure, the periodic table, ionic and molecular compounds, reaction types, stoichiometry, gas laws, thermochemistry, and an introduction to chemical bonding and molecular geometry. The laboratory portion of the course is designed to reinforce concepts from lectures as well as to introduce students to a variety of laboratory techniques. ACTS Equivalent Course is CHEM 1414.
