CET 1600 - Networking Fundamentals CET 1600 - Networking Fundamentals (3 Credit Hours) (A.S.) This course is the first course designed to provide students with training and laboratory experience in current and emerging networking technology. Instruction includes, but is not limited to, networking, network terminology and protocols, network standards, local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), the open system interconnection (OSI) reference model, cabling, routers, LAN/WAN topologies, Internet protocol (IP) addressing and network standards.
