CIS231 — Cybersecurity: Topics in Information Assurance
Add to My SC4 Catalog Cybersecurity professionals are expected to design and manage systems that may be trusted. This course examines the fundamentals of Information Assurance and security design. Topics include: compliance and privacy; security posture, vulnerabilities and potential threats; evaluating risk and understanding security controls; and the incident response process. This course will also feature a significant discussion and analysis of current events and recent security challenges. Prerequisite(s): CIS 120 or CIS 130 or CIS 155 or CIS 200 or CIS 202 or CIS 260 4 credits = 4 lecture
