SOC 3053 - Juvenile Justice SOC 3053 - Juvenile Justice This course is designed to educate students concerning juvenile justice issues and explores how society responds to juvenile crime. Students will evaluate programs and processes that exist in the juvenile system; the roles of the police, courts, and corrections; and prevention efforts in schools and community-based systems. Additionally, students develop an understanding of the historical roots of juvenile justice and its evolution to present-day practice. Same as CRJU 3053 . Spring.
