ETEC 2003 - Applied Statics ETEC 2003 - Applied Statics This course covers the basic principles of statics on particles and on rigid bodies. Equilibrium systems including both forces and moments will be discussed. Truss analysis including joint method and section method will be covered in detail. Shear force and bending moment diagram and the relationship among distributed loading, shear force, and bending moment will be discussed. Dry friction, finding area and volume center, and moment of inertia will be also discussed. Fall.

Prerequisites: MATH2124, MATH1525, PHYS2003, PHYS2001, PHYS2203, PHYS2201
