BIO111 — Introductory Microbiology 4 Hours
A study of the chemistry structure metabolism growth genetics ecology and disease causing abilities of microorganisms. Intensive laboratory exercises will stress aseptic technique culturing isolation and microorganism identification using a wide variety of diagnostic procedures. Prerequisite: BIO 112 with a grade of C or higher or BIO 108 with a grade of C, or higher or BIO 109 with a grade of C or higher, or permission of instructor.
