VIET 001A — Elementary Vietnamese 1 5 Units

Students develop skills for oral and written communication at the novice-low to novice-mid proficiency level in the Vietnamese language. Students study essential components of the language including pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and syntax, and introduction to Vietnamese culture. Not recommended for native speakers of Vietnamese. This course corresponds to two years of high school study.
