ART 096 — Survey of Asian Art 3 Units

This course provides a select overview of art and architecture from India, Southeast Asia, China, Korea, and Japan from pre-history to modern times. Students will apply critical evaluation and comparative analysis of secular and religious trends to assess and appreciate how historical trends have influenced and shaped the arts in Asia today. A field trip will be required. (C-ID ARTH 130)
