SPAN9011 — Noncredit Spanish for Medical Professions I

Units: 0 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Pass/No Pass Term Typically Every fall term Advisories: SPAN 1 or SPAN 2 with a minimum grade of “C”. This noncredit Spanish course is designed for students working in the health and medical fields who want to use Spanish to communicate with patients and coworkers. The course focuses on important vocabulary and real-life conversations related to medical settings. Students will practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing at a mid-elementary level, following the guidelines from the American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL). Noncredit courses may be repeated.
