LS90A — Beginning Adapted Keyboarding

Units: 1 Hours: 9 hours LEC; 27 hours LAB Grade Options: Letter Grade or Pass/No Pass Term Typically Every term This beginning course is designed to teach students basic keyboarding computer skills, techniques, and assistive technology that will enable them to be successful in accessing the computer. The course will review ergonomics and software for academic success. Students will practice self-paced typing tutorials and complete word processing assignments that focus on improving keyboarding and office production. Units earned in this course do not count toward the associate degree.
