ENGL88 — Introduction to Publishing and Editing
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade This course introduces students to the basics of publishing and editing. With hands-on practice in publishing and editing of Artifact, our campus literary arts magazine, and Delta Winds, an annual collection of student essays, students in this course will learn how to produce professionally edited and produced content. Students will learn how to apply their editing and publishing knowledge to their own creative work as well as to the creative work of other writers and artists. In addition, students will learn how to prepare their own creative writing for publishing opportunities and the basics of submitting their work.
