ECE34 — Children with Special Needs

Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every term This course introduces the variations in development of children with special needs ages birth through eight and the resulting impact on families. It includes an overview of historical and societal influences, laws relating to children with special needs, and the identification and referral process. (HBCU, CSU)

Prerequisites: ECE21, FCS19
