ECE27 — Culture and Diversity in Early Childhood Education
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every term This course examines the impact of various societal influences on the development of children’s personal and social identity. Covers developmentally appropriate, inclusive, culturally relevant, and anti-bias approaches. Self-examination and reflection on issues related to social identity, stereotypes, and bias will be explored. (CSU, C-ID ECE 230)
