CAT83 — Caterpillar Engine Fuel Systems
Units: 3 Hours: 36 hours LEC; 54 hours LAB Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every spring term Limitations on Enrollment: Admission into Associate Degree Caterpillar Technician Program. Student is a registered State indentured apprentice. This course is designed to introduce the student to the various fuel systems used on Caterpillar engines. The student will become familiar with fuel selection, fuel system calibrations, nozzle testing, governor operation, and hydraulic fuel ratio controls.
