BUS19 — Legal Environment of Business
Units: 3 Hours: 54 hours LEC Grade Options: Letter Grade Term Typically Every term This course covers the fundamental legal principles pertaining to business transactions. It is an introduction to the law as an instrument of social and political control in society. Topics in the course include sources of law and ethics, contracts, torts, agency, judicial and administrative processes, employment law, forms of business organizations, and domestic and international governmental regulations.
