AJ9096B — Noncredit Basic Public Safety Dispatcher Module II
Units: 0 Hours: 90 hours LAB Grade Options: Pass/No Pass This is the second of two noncredit courses which satisfy the Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) requirement for entry-level public safety dispatchers who have no prior training or limited experience. This course will introduce students to radio technology/procedures, critical incidents, wellness management, mental health conditions and intellectual/developmental disabilities awareness, human trafficking, terrorism/extremist group awareness, cultural diversity, hate crimes, and gang awareness. Noncredit courses may be repeated.
